A user account will be created for you as part of your conference registration if you have never registered with the website. This account will allow you to read documents not available to the general public. It will also give you access to portions of the website reserved for conference attendees, such as the ability to load and view reflection papers.

About Strong Passwords:
You will receive an email with your username and password. You can change your password by logging into the website and going to the Edit My Profile selection, found under the Contact Us drop-down menu. Please choose a “strong” password when you change it. A strong password helps protect our website. A strong password should be at least ten characters long and contain a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols like ! ” ? $ % ^ &.

When creating a new password, consider the following:

  1. A good password should contain a mixture of at least 3 of the following:  uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters (! @ # $ % _ + – : . ?)
  2. Consider combining words to create a password, such as PurpleFudge@2050.
  3. Place capital letters and numbers in unusual places, such as PuRpLe20@50FuDgE.
  4. Substitute some numbers for letters, such as 0 for o’s, 1 for i’s, 3 for e’s, 4 for h’s, 5 for s’s, 7 for L’s, or 8 for g’s.

 

Things not to include in passwords:

  1. Your username.
  2. Your first or last name.
  3. Your birth date.
  4. Your phone number.
